Please allow us to introduce ourselves...

Lenny Faraday
BBA, LLB, Certificate in Direct Marketing
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Wendy Faraday
Bbus (Acc), CPA
Co-Founder & Finance Director

Lenny and his wife , Wendy, founded SHA Fundraising over 10 years ago. They feel fortunate to be working in an industry that attracts a high proportion of caring people both on the client and fundraising side and feel that the industry has afforded them the opportunity to make a contribution to the clients that they work on behalf of.

Over the years we have met some very interesting fundraisers all who bring with them a richness of life experience. It would be fair to say that life at Smart Health Australia has never been dull and we look forward hopefully to making a positive contribution to the clients we work on behalf of in the future and have some fun along the way.

Janette Santin
Project Manager

Nigh approaching her eighth year with SHA, Janette is almost due for long-service leave...but we couldn’t afford not to have her around. Here’s why...Janette is SHA’s Project Manager.
By day Janette may be the Project Manager, but by night she is a League ten-pin bowler, one of the best Backgammon players in the Southern Hemisphere and has recently acquired a MDSc...a Masters in Domestic Science from the school of Maternal Selflessness, which in lay terms translates to “slave of the household” and incorporates many varied skills including chief cleaner, head chef and on-call taxi driver to her 14 year old daughter.
SHA is very fortunate to have Janette’s expertise and commitment, and we are thrilled to be able to offer our client partners the benefits of her fundraising mastery.

Kazmer Harangozo
Balaclava Call Centre Supervisor

Kazmer, or Kardy (as he is affectionately known) has crammed much into his short life. From barman to jeweller to entrepreneur to fundraiser extraordinaire to renowned international filmmaker, who has worked alongside many of Hollywood’s greats including Tom Cruise, Billy Connolly, Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. And yet the lure of SHA (or should I say our CEO’s inveiglement) has kept a hold over him for the best part of 6 years.
He loves his children and he loves his wife. But he loves his cat with severe personality issues a little less, and the Chihuahua his daughter’s lovingly brought home for him, he still refuses to acknowledge as a canine. But don’t be mistaken, Kardy is very much an animal lover...and that is why he is confounded that all the animals he has ever loved have died on his watch. Some days he identifies more with the fly, others more the windscreen.
If anyone can inspire and motivate it’s Kardy. With his acumen, charisma, eclectic background, talent, creativity and wonderful sense of humour, Kardy, our Balaclava Call Centre Supervisor keeps SHA fundraisers focused and determined to be the best possible ambassadors for our client partners.

Maz Dunic
Operations Manager

With a colourful and very fascinating background, Maz Initially aimed to become a doctor and spent 3 years at medical school in Europe. Upon returning to Australia he realised that his passion was with Computers, Media and Art.

Following his passion, Maz graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor in Multimedia Design and went to work as a designer of hand made rugs and carpets for high profile and corporate entities including the Presidential suite at the Shangri La hotel, a Palace in Dubai and the National Gallery of Victoria.

Maz joined the SHA team as a fundraiser, with intentions to stay for a short period of time whilst he had a change of pace from the stresses of a very demanding job.
He found that he loved the work that SHA did, and knowing that the end result was helping people and children with disabilities, he couldn’t leave.
Maz thoroughly loved the work and found himself working here for over a year (so much for temporary). From there on, with a bit of luck and the good words of some wonderful bosses, Maz was offered an IT & Database support role and since the IT & Database Managers role. With Maz’s appointment, it’s a win win situation, SHA has a well experienced addition to the IT team and Maz is now utilising his computer background and design skills to help with the daily IT and Database tasks and improving SHA's online presence.

Outside of work, Maz is a budding golfer who claims to embarrass himself on the fairways at least once a week. He is also a die hard member of the St Kilda Football club, and a walking movie database.
