Seeing Eye Dogs Australia (SEDA) is the only national trainer and provider of Seeing Eye Dogs in Australia and has been helping people who are blind or vision impaired for 47 years. SEDA’s mission is to enhance the mobility and independence of people who are blind or vision impaired throughout Australia by providing Seeing Eye Dogs, mobility training and rehabilitation services free of charge.
The Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) is the largest and oldest provider of home nursing and healthcare services in Australia. Grounded in the principles of care and compassion, RDNS is a not-for-profit organisation, delivering 24 hour a day nursing care to people in their homes, schools and workplaces. This service is provided 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Cerebral Palsy Australia is a non-government provider of disability services, offering an extensive range of services to children and adults living with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
Independence Australia formerly known as ParaQuad Victoria supports people in their dreams and aspirations of Independence. Independence Australia assists people with disabilities to regain, retain and extend their independence by providing a range of individually tailored services that are flexible and responsive to changing needs. Independence Australia has particular expertise in the area of spinal cord injury and poliomyelitis; however, it also provides services for people with a wide range of physical disabilities including cerebral palsy, motor neurone disease, acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis and stroke.
NRMA CareFlight is dedicated to providing the highest standard of rapid response critical care to the ill and injured. Their specially trained doctors, nurses and paramedics use helicopters, fixed wing aircraft and road ambulances to bring a hospital level of care to their patients. As a charity, they rely on community support to deliver their life-saving service.
